About Mi'mitega    Mi'mitega, pronounced (Me-Me-Tay-Gah) otherwise known as Mimitehxo, pronounced (Me-Me-Tay-Ex-Oh) and sometimes refered to as Mimitea (Me-Me-Tea) or just simply Mimiteh (Me-Me-Tay) is a proud member of the Umonhon (Omaha) Tribe of Nebraska pronounced (Ooo-Mah-Ha). Meaning Going Against The Current.  Her indigenous name, meaning New Moon, reflects her deep connection to her culture and serves as a tribute to her grandparents and heritage. She does this by using her native indigenous name in the public eye and in all of her creative endeavors. Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, she celebrates her roots through storytelling and creative expression. Mimitehxo refers to her ever growing community as Moonlighters and any new readers, followers or subscribers, are warmly welcomed as New Moonlighters. A subtle nod to the true meaning of her name New Moon. Mimi is an avid reader and storyteller, she has a passion for crafting tales that blend her love of fiction, romance, fantasy, comedy, horror and mystery. Many of Mimiteh's stories are inspired by vivid, continuous dreams she has experienced, which she felt would make captivating tales. She strives to adapt her future books into webtoons and plans to publish her stories on Wattpad.
