I am struggling. A lot. Broke the clean streak. Again.
          My sister’s Guinea pig passed today in her arms. 
          I checked for a heartbeat, a breath. I was hoping maybe he was just sleeping. 
          I was really hoping.
          But he’s gone.
          And I could’ve helped him.
          I saw him getting bonier throughout this last year. I knew it was not normal.
          I knew it. But I didn’t look it up.
          I didn’t look into it more.
          And I caused him to have more pain than he would have if I looked it up and got him a vet.
          Bailey I am sorry. I am sorry.
          I should have known. This is my future job for crying out loud and I know plenty of facts about animals. 
          I should’ve known.
