Just wanted to say this cause there is people on instagram who do this.
To some people a lot actually, beauty is focused on looks. You try to look your best and when you do, you rub it into people's faces. They think that being a teenager is about looks and dating. Like seriously? You are still living with your parents/guardian. You aren't an adult yet and shouldn't be worried about how you look. When you move out, all you'll know how to do is look 'perfect' and be a jerk about it. What about life? Bills? Making money? Not everyone is cut out to be famous and that's okay. All you have to do is be yourself. A teen is finding their way in life and starting to figure out what they want to do. If you are going to focus on your looks and be a jerk about it, you aren't even close to being even a little pretty. You are lower then that. So, be responsible, but be a teen. Someone who is just finding their way in life. Learn new things, and prepare for adult hood. It's closer then you think.
