Work and being a mom kicked my butt, however. Now that I'm on summer break with my kids and at 45 years old, newly medicated for ADHD (hooray for diagnosis), I am hoping to revisit my writing.

I know I've been gone for so long, but life has been lifing... nothing terrible, but I'm exhausted and can't focus long enough to write.
Realistically, Summer will probably provide me enough time to focus. I need to finish Lonesome Revenant and the other stories I left in the open.

I'm sure you're doing an amazing job with everything. Life can be incredibly difficult, especially as a mother and the way things have been in life lately. I am so sorry. I had a weird summer healthwise and couldn't focus on writing. I can't make promises to when I'll make updates but my brsin is coming back to normal, so I hope it's soon. I miss writing but I couldn't string coherent thoights long enough to focus.

Hello to anyone interested!
I have to apologize to those trading Lonesome Revenant and Seolar Eclipse.
Just as I was getting excited to spend Summer break with my kids and my writing, we discovered my thyroid is doing whatever it wants and so my labs are not optimal which make me feel fatigued after the smalles of physical tasks, and my brain has a hard time remembering things. Think ADHD.
Hypothyroidism is a silent chronic illness that is manageable until it's not. Right now my body decided my current med dose wasn't enough and so it needs to increase. I will hopefully be back to normal in 4-6 weeks... it sucks.
I am rereading Lonesome Revenant to remind my brain where the story was and where it was going to begin writing again.
Again, I'm so sorry to anyone waiting. I was so excited to get more time to read and now, I'm lucky if I can finish 1 load of laundry without feeling like passing out.
Anyways. For anyone out there struggling with a chronic and silent illness, you're not alone!
You're not a lazy bum! You're a survivor!
