          Okay, my lieges, since I've been gone for a year, it is time for me to explain where I've been. So, if you are not a member of my discord, you may not be as up-to-date.  https://discord.gg/99jFyyXJY4
          
          I am still around, just swamped in my adult life. Next month I turn 22, so that's another one for the books. Speaking of books, I've been slowly working on current and new projects I know you will enjoy. Keep in mind- I have 2 part-time jobs and may potentially return to college (for those who don't know- flunked so I dropped out), all on top of learning how to drive and in between appointments with my therapist- and focusing on my other art and musical projects. So it may be a while before you see more fluid updates, and I apologize for the wait.
          
          For the adults in my audience who prefer more... spicy works... I've posted a new novel which will be updated infrequently- "Slice of Erotica". The first story is slated to be posted later today. In the future, patrons get access 2 days early with the Steamy tier pledge- otherwise, expect updates to only be on Tuesdays- though they may be sporadic as I am more hesitant about works like this.
          
          As for my other books, my primary focus is EITDC, though I am working on the return of the Miststar's story rewrite and brainstorming for the sixth series, Unity. It contains a whole slew of fan characters, ready to be a part of the series! There is also another new book I have in the works, though it may be a few months or so before I release it- have to hammer out a few minor details before I'm confident with the direction this work is going in.
          
          Not a big update, but I hope this covers anything you may have missed from me in the last year or so. I apologize for ghosting everyone- shouldn't happen again. Has it really been almost a year? Oh geez. Well, hello again, my lieges, for I have returned.
          
          As you know, I have been busy with work, and I am a full time student in college. I major in Animation and minor in vocal performance (formerly creative writing but it had to be changed due to the path I was going on at school and to save money). I don’t make enough to cover monthly loan payments often, so I’ve done some personal things (busking, designing adopts for money on dA, etc.) to ensure I can meet the payment plan I’m on. With all this happening, you can indeed bet I am very busy and have a hard time getting time to write.
          
          I’ve also been working on a lovely project on the side- prepping Imagine to be published!! The plan is summer or fall this year, a lot of formatting needs to be redone and some art pieces need to be added, but we’re almost there! Hooray! As with my previous published book, I will need to take down a bunch of chapters to promote the selling of the book for a while. Do keep supporting me throughout this time!
          
          I’ve been working on Miststar’s story V2, as well as IOAP,II?’s grand return!! Do keep an eye out for the fun things to come… as soon as I can get that free time that’s so hard to come by. Luckily, summer break is coming soon… however I still have some summer classes and work I wanted to do… but since I’ll be at home I’ll be more relaxed and able to do work, I’m sure of it.

Greetings again, my lieges. I am back from the dead, as you may say. I have a lot of news to share, most of which shall answer everyone’s burning questions of why I was away.

          Also, I got accepted into an art college! I’m very excited for this new chapter in my life. This may also explain my inactivity in the coming fall season. I’m moving from the north to the south to pursue this ongoing dream of mine.
          
          I’ve also been running a small business that sells secondhand goods. Soon I hope to sell art goods! It’s called “Minori’s Markett”. As of now I no longer own the licensing to the name as I had it filed for bankruptcy but until the near-end of August I hope to sell as much as possible while I still have the domain. The future of it is unclear.
          
          But among all this busy stuff, some good news! “Before TSMM…” isn’t going to be updated often when it releases, so I’ve made a new book on that. You like cats, murder mysteries, and battle royale styled stories? Well that’s what my new book Diplomacy Wreck is all about! It will be updated bi-weekly on Tuesdays starting August 10th. I hope you tune in.

Well, my lieges, I've been MIA for quite a bit of time, now haven't I? Slowly but surely, though, I am returning to writing.           Tuesday's update book will be posted ASAP. Thursday's has been changed to more of a personal project- "The elemental shades". Remember that, fans of the past? I'm using this project as a way to improve my art and writing over time for college. I'm even re-animating the intro sequence. Hopefully, you will support this project once it goes up.
          
          Otherwise, I'd like to mention that editing of Imagine to the second draft completely is beginning before its publication. A lot of writing may be removed or chapters may be rewritten.

Hello again, my lieges. After a much needed break, I have decided to finally end my writing hiatus. I think it’s time for me to pick up the pencil and write again!
          
          I have some news, before anything continues-
          
          I have made the difficult decision to remove the Forgotten Intelligence trilogy from Wattpad altogether. If I’m being honest, I had no intent of finishing the trilogy after a while- the plot seemed to drag and make no sense, and many points seemed rushed. Therefore, I am removing the series from here. All other books will remain and will continue eventually.
          
          As for Tuesday and Thursday update day replacements... there are 2 books! Keep reading to see them...
          
          They say February is the month of love, so allow me to present a new original novel/romance- “Just gaming in the rain ”! It will be updated on Thursdays, bi-weekly.
          
          And for my fans of TSMM, you requested it, you got it! I’m making a series of short stories of all the characters before TSMM, fittingly titled, well. “Before TSMM...”! These are canon events that took place before the games. The book will be updated on occasional Tuesdays.
          
          When will the books be out? Well, February 9th and 11th, believe it or not! That’s right! The release date is coming quickly!
          
          I’m ready to make a return to writing... and this is how I’m gonna start! Hopefully you’re all as excited as I am for this...

It’s a new year, my lieges. It’s been a while since I’ve checked in, but I shall do so now with some info... some of which should be read carefully-
          
          I apologize for being rather infrequent with posts and updates here. I’ve been busy with real-life priorities- in both my show and my own health. TSMM is a passion project I swore I would see through to the end, even if it was just one episode that would be released... even for a while. We’re working hard, we’re trying.           Sadly, my mental health has been in a tremendous decline lately (for personal reasons I do not wish to disclose at this moment), which is affecting my writing productivity. I deeply apologize for announcing this so suddenly, but... all my novels are to be on hiatus until further notice. I simply can’t concentrate on myself if all the obligations I put on my writing take over. So for my own sake, I’m going to take a break. I don’t know when I’ll be back, but it may not be for some time. My projects won’t be abandoned forever... just for a bit.
          
          I hope this is not any inconvenience to anyone... but for now, I just want to take some time to heal and relax as much as I possibly can. I’m going to lift this weight off my shoulders for a while, and try to do what’s best for myself for now. Thank you for being here during this time, my lieges. I will return one day.

Let it be known that on this day, December 1st, 2020, after about 3 1/2 years, I, Minori M. McKinney, have completed my primary novel project, Imagine! This is quite an achievement... that book has taken over my life for ages, but today, it is finally over (I will go back and add second draft updates in the future, but not now, of course).
          
          Now, it is time to focus on other books! I will primarily work on Petrified and It's only a phase, isn't it? now. Miststar's story V2 will also update on Fridays, starting now. However, there will not be an update this Friday. I apologize.

Hello, my lieges. Time for another update. This time with some more important info I may have missed previously.
          
          My new book, Embers in the Dusted Crest, is being released on November 23rd, and will be updated every Monday! I hope you will all join me in this new original novel, full of fantasy, love and loss, and all the feelings that... adults... have. Well. I don’t know how else to describe it, so let’s be simple.
          
          Miststar’s story V2 updates on Sundays, as usual. I just posted Chapter 2. Hopefully you enjoy it a lot better than V1, regardless of the fact I haven’t really read a warriors book in like, 5 years..
          
          Imagine is on chapter 57 of 61! It should be finished by tomorrow. Tune in for its release if you can!
