Are you able to enable text to speech manually on your stories?
@Sillybeanns Haha yeah, I used to think there was a setting for it too, but I guess I was wrong Wattpad does its own thing. But fr, take care of your eyes I’ll look around and see if there’s another way that might help. If I find anything, I’ll let you know .
@Mira_273996 So other writers have text to speech on some stories. I used to think two things: 1) Wattpad adds the function automatically. But the criteria was never clear to me. I thought it was stories with at least 100k reads, but from time to time I see stories with <30k reads which have the function. So since the read range was so wide, it made me think 2) that the author’s were manually turning on the function. Wattpad is a mysterious glitchy hot mess. Even so, I’ll never abandon it even though my eyeballs do resent my affinity for reading. :(
