Heeeey. My name is Amira, and I'm 22 years old. I've been writing since I was about 5. The biggest encouragement to my writing has been my mom and my 8th grade English teacher, Lacie Holmes. Lacie used to read my stories while I was in high school, and she refined my writing skill into what I have today.
If I'm not writing, I'm probably listening to music. I also spend a lot of time playing Xbox with my siblings. I have also begun streaming some PC games to Twitch, so that's been an experience. We've recently moved to Alabama, so I spend a little time exploring the area that we live in now. I know it pretty well since my cousin lives here, but it's always fun to explore.
I also want to thank my best friends for all of their support as I work to become an actual published author. S.S., M.H., B.S., and D.G. have been the best friends anyone could ask for. This has been a really hard year for me, so I couldn't thank these guys enough for keeping me sane as I try to return to normal life.
If you ever get the chance, please donate to cancer research. I lost my older brother to stomach cancer on 3-16-16, and I have had a really hard time dealing with that. Please, help us find a cure. I never want another family to go through what my family has been through. Fly high, Patrik Ray. I love you.
I've been suffering from depression for a long time, and I try to keep that out of my writing. Here lately, that has been harder to do. My only real goal is to convey emotion in what I write. I want you as a reader to feel what the character feels. I do the best I can, and I hope that you enjoy what you're reading. :)
