I’m really going to die, Italy is now in lockdown and if all goes okay, I will return to school in May

Hey I was reading Like once like always and the scene where the narrator noticed the untouched piano in the café really stood out to me. The way they were drawn to play it felt like stepping into another world and then suddenly being confronted by familiar voices made it such a powerful shift. Did you intend that piano moment to symbolize a deeper connection to the past or was it more about sparking the reunion with those friends?

Things are getting out of hand...in Italy there is the COVID-19 with more that 150 infected persons and 112 only in one region.
Because of this the president of my region decided to shut down everything and in a few day we won’t even go out.
4 deaths and each hour more persons get infected...
I can’t go to school, I can’t play sports, I have to stay at home, I’m my city there isn’t the COVID-19 but it surely will arrive, I’m starting to get a little endgame with this situation...
