These summaries are a bit old . I originally wrote them for another girl because I used to explain Vardhan's POV chapters to her.
          
          So if anything is confusing or doesn't make sense, just ask me 

The reason why he didn’t react to her picture is because he didn’t see it at that time. Actually, in the previous chapter, when he messaged Raya to come out, after sending that message, he didn’t even close the chat and kept his phone in his trouser pocket with the chat still open. So when Raya sent him her picture in that dress, her chat was already open on his phone. That’s why the blue tick appeared, but he didn’t actually see her picture.
          And that’s also the reason why he didn’t say anything to her when she kept the dress aside while billing, because he thought she didn’t want it. Instead, he was thinking more about why she was crying when just a few minutes ago she was really happy. Even on their way back home, he kept thinking about what he did wrong.
          After they came back, Raya went straight to her room, and Vardhan was still debating in his mind about what he did wrong. Then he pulled his phone out of his trousers, unlocked it, and that’s when he finally saw her picture. After seeing it, he thought that she looked happy in the picture too, so he couldn’t understand where he went wrong.
          Then he went on to read one of his sister’s emails that he hadn’t read before. After reading three of his POVs, I would say it’s kind of his habit to read Avni’s emails whenever he is triggered or emotional. After reading one of the emails, he got so overwhelmed that he smashed his phone against the wall.
          After some time, he went to Raya’s room to ask what he did wrong.
          So yeah, that’s the whole story.

And this one is the summary of the chapter 47 
          
          So yeah, Vardhan’s POV starts from the moment he leaves the house to get that dress. He reaches home very late, and one of the main reasons for that is the huge rush at the entrance of the shopping mall itself. That was kind of triggering for him. He was really scared to go inside, so he just waited in the car for the crowd to reduce a little.
          
          He was extremely scared, sweating continuously, and even when he went inside, his hands were getting sweaty. He was very nervous and anxious. When he finally felt it was a bit better, that’s when he went inside. Even then, he almost bumped into someone, but nothing happened.
          
          Then he tried to find the dress, and that’s when he saw someone already buying it almost at the billing counter. He went and said that he wanted to buy that dress, but the person buying it was Yusra. That’s how they met.
          
          After that, he apologized and requested Yusra to let him have the dress. He said he wanted to buy it for his wife. He even thought to himself that Raya would look beautiful in that dress.
          
          His entire POV revolves around the fear of losing Raya. He keeps thinking, “I don’t want to make her upset. I don’t want her to abandon me.” He constantly thinks about how he will rectify his mistakes so that Raya doesn’t leave him.
          
          His POV ends with him thinking that there is a bigger reason why he married Raya something Raya doesn’t know. And if she ever finds out, she will leave him. So he decides that he will do everything to make sure she doesn’t get upset and never leaves him. He is ready to do anything to make her forgive him.
          
          That’s what his POV is all about.

          The story picks up right after Raya tells Vardaan she’ll stay with him as long as he doesn’t betray her, which sends him into a total tailspin. While they are sitting there, he lies and tells her to keep her hair down—not because he thinks she looks beautiful, but because the sight of her bare neck actually messes with his head and makes him feel like he’s going insane. He’s so restless and on edge that he keeps gripping her *dupatta* just to feel some sort of physical connection to her.
          We find out that their whole marriage is just a "compromise clause," and Vardaan has been using Raya as a pawn for his revenge since day one. He knows that once he pulls off his plan, she’s going to feel completely betrayed, so he’s desperately trying to do anything to soften her heart now so she won't leave him later. He even chooses not to wear his glasses in this scene just to keep up the act. To him, she looks the same whether her hair is up or down, but he’s playing the part.
          The catch is that he has a specific date marked on his calendar for next month to finish his revenge, but as it gets closer, he starts to panic. He’s getting weird heart palpitations and feeling sick to his stomach because he’s actually starting to feel a slight attraction and attachment to her. Now he’s stuck in a trap he built himself: he’s still driven by revenge, but he’s absolutely terrified that the moment he betrays her, she’ll follow through on her word and walk out of his life forever.
          

Then the POV returned to Vardhan.
          He thought about how he already knew what it felt like to be abandoned, to never be chosen, and to be completely alone in the world.
          Even after reading everything Avni had written, he still didn't feel anything for her.
          He then thought:
          "It's easier to cry about how insignificant the ocean makes you feel, but what about the ones who've been drowned in it?"
          After that, he once again inhaled Raya's scent and thought:
          "Let fate play its course. If she is with me, she will survive."
          And with that thought, he sprayed cologne on himself to get rid of the smell of nicotine and went downstairs to make cardamom tea 

After this, he clenched his wrist, threw away the cigarette, went back into his room, sat at his desk, logged into his laptop, and started reading one of Avni's old emails.
          The email was from 7 March 2022.
          In the email, Avni was also standing near the ocean while writing. She wrote about how much she despised the ocean and how it reminded her of how insignificant human beings are.
          She said the ocean reminded her of him because he made her feel the same way—completely insignificant, as though her life had no value.
          She also wrote about how much it hurt that nobody was beside her, not even her brother.
          She questioned how the ocean could be so cruel as to ignore teardrops, and how a brother could be so cruel as to ignore his own sister.
          Then she wrote:
          "But then again, the ocean carries salt, not bitterness, but you carry the weight of abandoning me. How are you going to live with this weight, knowing that you abandoned the girl who begged you not to?
          As the waves thrash against the shore with the piercing sound of grief, I wonder when those teardrops are going to touch your skin. Because I really want you to feel insignificant."

          She then said that she hoped one day he would stand before the ocean just as she did and experience the same feeling of insignificance. She desperately wished for him to understand what it felt like to be abandoned and left completely alone in the world.
          And with that, the email ended.
