So very sorry for the delay. Chapter 3 is up and chapter 4 is... On the way... Needs some serious revision...
I have to say, my PhD program is getting intense. It's not uncommon for me to work 10-12 hours a day, and then I'm too exhausted to do anything else. In all fairness, I don't know how often I can work on this. I might even have to shelf it for a while... I hope not though.
Just an update, my PhD program is getting really hard and I also have a lot of student papers to grade. I don't have much time to work on anything else, but I will try to get the next chapter out this weekend if I can.
Just a heads up. I'm currently doing my PhD and it's getting to a really, really tough part. My supervisor isn't even sure if I should continue or not. I'll likely be working too much on school to update at a regular schedule... I'm very sorry. Updates will likely be slower than I want.

Hi, sorry for not uploading the next chapter yet. Yesterday while driving, someone else decided to drive into my car with their car. That was pretty unpleasant. Will upload today.
On another note, I too write dark fantasy (think The Dark Tower series with a dose of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Ship" and Alice in Wonderland), and tend rather to write tragedy and things with horror while not liking to read them! xD I'll check out your story anyway though, haha! :) Again, welcome, and if you have questions feel free to ask or PM!
