Chapter 5 should have just been posted. My schedule is pretty tough to manage right now, so I'm not sure when the next one will come, and this one is really late as well. But I think the story is at the point where you can give it a little read and see how much you like it, if you're ever planning to get into it that is. Art for the most recent chapter(s) might not come until a few days/weeks from their publishing, so don't be weirded out by that.

As always, feedback is very much appreciated. Especially negative, so if you find anything you don't like about the story, please tell me. That's all for now.

Happy new month* *
          Sorry it's late

@velvettealina I've been STRESSED... And you? School is stressful... I don't come online this days
            Any gist?
            Sorry my message is late

Hello ><

MishyPOG

@velvettealina Yeah that makes sense. Longer stories are pretty hard in general, I don't think it's fantasy specifically. And answering your question, I'm working on a horror/thriller story. Good luck with your story!

@MishyPOG Well then... I'll always (try) to wish you a happy new month.
Smaller story... What genre? Fantasy? Teen fiction?
Hmm since I left Wattpad, I've been thinking of my story and now it makes real sense. Mwahhahahaha
I'm still working on it... Like no one told me fantasy was this hard.
I've had lots of ideas that I will write and I'm trying to plot them down since I realised that I am a relaxed plotter and don't want it to be cliche and cringe like my childhood writing.

@velvettealina I don't think I've ever had someone wish me a "happy new month", haha. But it's been great. I'm working on a smaller story now that I can actually finish. What about you?

Hello

          Just wanted to say SUP

MishyPOG

@velvettealina I made that mistake a lot as well earlier, that I hopefully fixed now. I think the key is to not share any information, until you have no choice but to. For example, if magic or mythological creatures exist in a fantasy world should not be revealed (in my opinion) until it is absolutely relevant, and it should be revealed in small pieces of the whole puzzle, and not in a large info-dump, while making subtlety count. I think readers are a lot happier picking up on subtext in tense scenes than reading through pages of information in boring scenes. (Though it is very likely I don't know what I'm talking about, so take what I say with a grain of salt)

@velvettealina Mine is still on the 'to-do list'. I took months to even know the plot of the story and every detail even to the ending of the book but now am having a problem with starting. It's like 'cuz I know everything I want to jump right in and I want to take things slow so as not to crash.

I wrote my chapter 1 and cut it out 'cuz it was so boring with unnecessary information that me myself will skip it
            .

@velvettealina Yeah, yeah, yeah. So are you planning to write yours? You said you needed help (even though I'm not good at all myself).

Chapter one should be out now, much revised, and much more consistent. Hopefully it's more readable as well. More to come, however I'm kind of busy right now, so PBG is off schedule. The quality in chapter 1 is the quality to be expected later on.

I unpublished all other chapters, and will be replacing them with new ones. I wouldn't recommend getting into the story yet, but feedback is always appreciated if you do. That's all for now.

MishyPOG

To whom it may concern, and the people who recently followed me. (I'm sorry for bothering you if you're one of my followers from dreamland, this is probably not interesting to you, so you can ignore it.)

The current version of Pitch Black Grim is not up to my standards, so I will start over radically changing the story. The current version will stay up for as long as the new version isn't done, but no edits will be made to it.

I apologize to whoever wanted to get into it just now, but it's probably not a good time for that. If you want to be updated on when you could get to reading the version I think is best, you could follow me to receive updates on when it's out, or about to be. You are always welcome to read the current version of course, but I warned you. That's all for now.

MishyPOG

@velvettealina You should wait. Don't bother with it now.

Hello
Am really sorry for disturbing the peace of your message board but pls
          I have a question!!!
          (๑•﹏•)

MishyPOG

@velvettealina You can do present or past, though past is more common. Future is really rare, and confusing, so I'd avoid it. Also, since this is likely your next question, writing in 3rd and 1st persons is the most popular, though admittedly 3rd more used than 1st, but it depends on the kind of story you're writing, as much as the tenses.

@MishyPOG thanks alot.
I need advice, which tenses are best for writing??

@velvettealina It's not as easy to teach to write a good story than you think. Write something you think is good, and I'll check it out.

Don't be embarrassed about stuff, every person works differently.
