I was a girl who was friends with her novels
I am a woman married to her pen
I write, I read, I draw
For richer or poorer
In sickness and in health
Till death do us part
I hope to touch heart
Not necessarily to trend
If someone's life can be better because of what I write
I can smile knowing I have done my part

The world can stop me from everything else I desire to be, let everyone take what they can get out of me, but no one can stop me from falling in love and writing my poetry, because that is just what I do.
