@MissAly_ ao3 really is the way to go! I love your theory about Kath being a journalist covering Maja. If she ends up going undercover, it’ll definitely remind me of her role in A Very Good Girl (2023), which I really enjoyed.
            
            I was also thinking they might be related somehow! It could honestly go either way — maybe Maja is James’ older sister who somehow gets in the way of his romance with Kath. That kind of dynamic could add a nice layer of tension.
            
            As for James, he often plays characters with mommy/daddy issues, so I’d love to see him take on a role with different motivations this time around. My wildcard theory is that they’ll incorporate his real-life musical background into his character, especially since he’s been focusing on his music career lately #recessionindicator
            
            And for Kathryn, she’s just so versatile. There is no doubt that she can absolutely carry the show on her own. I really liked her #girlboss role in previous works, so I’d love to see her take on a more vengeance-driven arc this time.
            
            I’m also super curious about the rest of the cast and what direction the show will take, whether they lean more into romance, action, thriller, or melodrama, I’m so here for it!

@marshmallowsunicorns so much has changed! Honestly I’ve moved onto A03, read Dramione and Reylo fanfics. For the Kath Reid show, I honestly have no clue. I feel like since Maja Salvador is involved, it may be heavy drama. And from the initial promo, I do think it will be drama. (Shame cause I was hoping for a rom com or something light lol). I’m hoping it’s not too melondrama/typical filo teleserye of a plot though. 
            
            Considering kath’s comments that the drama is not just romance but based on family/women, I’m thinking it may be political, maybe something about career? If it does involve action, I’m hoping it’s not corny. I’m thinking it may involve some sort of journalism(?) not sure. For some reason I can see Kath being a journalist, Maja being some sort of powerful figure (be it CEO, political figure, someone famous) and Kathryn being the journalist the pursues a breaking story with maja involved. I’m thinking James maybe another journalist too from a rival agency? 
            
            Maybe Kath and maja are long lost sisters or there would be some sort of sibling rivalry. 
            
            I JUST HOPE ITS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE B/W Maja, James and Kath. Honestly I’m a sucker for love triangles but pls no. 
            
            What are your theories/hopes for the plot? 
            
            Honestly, I do hope action is involved though. Really hoping the plot is unique and that it’s not some recycled idea. Tropes will always be there but I hope it’s something good. I feel like legal drama would be cool (like Kath and James as lawyers)
