Hi! I'm Olivia, a twelve-year-old girl too smart to be blissfully ignorant to the maltreatment of animals at SeaWorld. My main concern are the orcas, though there are other things I will mention about differing animals. I will probably post a lot about Tilikum, a deceased whale that had a horrific life before it's death, including solitary confinement, with no better words to use, being 'raped' and being inbreed and having to endure extreme levels of stress. This stress caused multiple incidents of aggression towards nearby people. There was one death to my immediate knowledge of a senior trainer, Dawn. It is possible there are more.

I do have one other thing to say and that is that I will be doing some myth busting using evidence directly from SeaWorld. There is a large amount of propaganda surrounding SeaWorld's treatment of the whales, the condition of the whales, and most importantly if protocol was followed (and what is the said protocol) and what is being done if it was not. 

It is definitely possible not everything that SeaWorld is rebutting with is true, particularly with the eye-opening (but not completely and entirely true) documentary Blackfish. I will try my best to decipher the fact from fiction.

I will probably talk a bit about animal circuses and my view on them as well, although I will focus on orcas.
