A little piece of my heart for my fellow K-pop fans ♡

—Some will never truly understand how heartbreaking it is for us K-pop fans when something happens to a group we deeply care about, especially when a member leaves. You might look at us and think, “Why are you crying? You don’t even know them personally.” But that’s exactly why you shouldn’t judge something you’ve never experienced yourself.

It’s not being “Overly Dramatic.” It’s not about thinking we’re entitled to their lives. It’s about the memories, the comfort, and the happiness their music gave us. We supported them through different eras, celebrated their achievements, stayed up watching their performances, learned their personalities, and made countless memories with their songs playing in the background. For some of us, they were there during moments when nobody else knew what we were going through. Their music became something we could turn to when we were stressed, exhausted, lonely, or simply having a terrible day. Personally, their music helped me through difficult moments and gave me something to look forward to when I needed it most.

So when something changes, when a member leaves, when a group suddenly feels different, or when something happens that we never wanted to happen, it can genuinely hurt. We’re not mourning because we think we “know” them. We’re mourning the memories, the era, the songs, and the version of that group that meant so much to us.

So you STRANGERS out there don’t have to understand it. You don’t even have to feel the same way. But please don’t belittle someone else's pain just because you can't relate to it. What may seem like “just K-pop” to you might have been a source of comfort, strength, and happiness for someone else. You were never in our shoes, so you’ll never know just how much they meant to us.

          That's all, ciao x

@MissCerealKiller Honestly, this message touched me more than I expected. 🥺❤️ I completely understand what you mean about how deeply we can become attached to idols even when we’ve never met them or known them personally.
Sometimes I think people who aren’t fans don’t really understand how real those feelings can become. We watch them grow, listen to their songs when we’re happy or sad, laugh at their silly moments, celebrate their achievements, and somehow, without even realizing it, they become a small but meaningful part of our everyday lives. We know them through what they choose to share with us, and those memories can mean so much.
As a NewJeans fan, everything that has happened recently has made me understand this feeling even more. And with Dani no longer being part of the group, I honestly felt a kind of sadness that I didn’t expect to feel so strongly. I know she’s someone I’ve never personally met, and I know I’m only a fan, but that doesn’t suddenly make all the memories, music, and love disappear.
It’s such a strange feeling when a group you loved in a certain way changes. You can be happy for the members and still miss the way things used to be. You can understand that people and circumstances change while still feeling heartbroken about what you lost. And I think that’s what you captured so beautifully in your message.
Your words honestly made me feel understood. 🥹❤️ Sometimes it’s comforting to know that other fans feel these things too and that we’re not being “too emotional” just because we care about people we’ve never met.
Thank you for putting something that’s so difficult to explain into words. Please never underestimate how much your words can mean to someone reading them. And please keep writing. Your story and your thoughts both have a way of making people feel something, and that’s really special. 🫶🏻💗

Guess it’s finally time to publish those long-forgotten drafts sitting in my archives… because why not?

Some stories were abandoned, some were half-finished, and some have been collecting dust for way too long. Might as well give them a second chance. Who knows? Maybe one of them deserves to be read after all ♡

MissCerealKiller

I accidentally deleted my story, Fields of Grace, and I just sat there staring at my screen in complete shock. I was about to upload a new chapter—literally seconds away from updating—when it suddenly disappeared. One wrong click and everything was gone.

I refreshed the page, hoping it was just a glitch. It wasn’t. It’s actually gone!

I don’t even know what to feel right now—panic, regret, disbelief? I worked so hard on that story, and now I’m sitting here questioning my life choices. I can’t believe I did that. I’m spiraling :-(
