This began as a 2000-word entry for a writing contest, and since I wrote it in early February, I've been encouraged by many to expand it into a full-length novel. I'm now working beyond the fiftieth chapter, and I'll be posting new ones every two to four days.

@MissHanish — Thank you again for your praise. I was challenged by a colleague to write a ChickLit story from the perspective of a broadly experienced septuagenarian. From all the positive response I have received, it appears I am managing it rather well. Of necessity, my story will have fresh approaches and will delve into seldom-examined areas, since I am a man who has always had an intense interest in women. The vast majority of writers of Women's Fiction and ChickLit are women with perspectives from the other side of the divide.
@ZonderZorg it is interesting in reading their interaction with each other. Especially those hard questions by Chloe. Hahaha. It seems that nothing escaped her attention. She is one bright girl. I think no other mother-daughter relationship in Wattpad is as interesting as Val and Chloe and as open as both of them. So kudos for that!

I thought it would be interesting to watch them each experience the major life/sexuality/relationship changes at different levels.
