i stumbled upon 'he's so fine' recently, having been ambushed by my beatles phase out of nowhere, and i've been hooked ever since. i'm in complete awe with your writing and the way you've fleshed out every character, and the dedication you've put into this story is so so admirable. i'm happy to see that you're still active on here, since i really wanted to thank you for all your effort!!! it's been a pleasure reading it! i hope you're doing well. much love xx

Hello!! I just wanted to come here to say I’ve enjoyed your George Harrison fics. So much that it’s inspiring me to pick up a new hobby; creative writing. However, I’ve never really tried creative writing, aside from doing it for school assignments. My question is where should I start when it comes to creative writing? Where and how did you start?

Lots of love and I’m looking forward to any updates on He’s So Fine xx

Omg, based on reading your stories, it makes so much sense to find out you used to write scripts. There is so much attention put into the dialogue and the action that it really feels cinematic when I'm reading your work. Truly amazing and inspiring, love it! I'll take all the advice I can get, so yes, I will read more! And thanks so much, good luck on your writing as well! Looking forward to more of He's So Fine in the future :))

@Raquela_Morrone Reading helps enormously when you want to start writing. Just read tons, even if you don’t think it’s particularly relevant to what you want to do because you’ll find you subconsciously absorb lots like styles and how things can fit together. I wrote stories when I was little and as a teenager I wrote lots of scripts - I wanted to be a screenwriter at the time. That helped I think when it came to narrative writing because it makes you think visually and makes you tell the story through dialogue and action, rather than the temptation to just “tell” your readers the story (you have to show it, to coin the cliche). In fan fiction I first started writing for an online Beatles fan fiction magazine (which isn’t there anymore sadly) which published short stories, but what I wrote was it was pretty awful. Very cliched and predictable stuff. I’ve never been very good at short stories (as you may have notice if you’ve read anything of mine!) Writing little bits is a great way to start though, whether poems or short scenes or whatever. Writing takes practice I think so keep writing and you’ll find it will build up. Good luck with it!

No worries about the late reply, thanks for taking the time to respond. When an idea strikes, I take it easy and write poems or random sentences I think sound cool LOL. Writing stories are a little daunting as a beginner, so writing something interpretive (ex: a poem) helps me practice. Also, reading stories has been helping me along the way. How about you? How did you begin as a story writer?
