And that's a wrap on Jodie as Thirteen! I can't believe it's been five years since she was announced as the first female Doctor and what an uproar that created!
          She did it though, and that centenary special was amazing. It was wonderful to watch her interactions and character growth as she developed, and I can't wait for whatever she does next. She didn't entertain the hate she received and in doing so inspired so many. 
          The most important part though... the cuteness overload with her and Yaz in the last episode??? I dare you to try and convince me there was anything straight about that, bless them.
          I am excited for the next saga of Doctor Who, but do let me know what you thought of the Jodie era!

          -I’m assuming you watched the New Years episode which was brilliant- as was that line about mad people and Yaz glancing at the Doctor which was beyond cute…
          -So if the next episode is Jodies final it mean we are getting a Thasmin episode plus a regeneration in one!? Yeah watch me cry that should be fun! 
          -Sorry I haven’t been active, it’s all a bit crazy at the moment so if I haven’t replied to you I promise I’m not ignoring you!!!!

          Wow what an amazing season 13! I loved the character depth that was investigated and thirteen’s interactions with her friends and foes. Confusing as it was, the tri- Doctor flux storyline will always be fun to rewatch as I can guarantee we all missed a few details. I think Jodie did an amazing job as did Mandip, John and all the other cast and writers (yes Chibnall I guess that means you too). 
          If I were to ask for one thing it would be more detail on Tecteun- I feel like we saw her very briefly and very little was explained. Also The Doctor was very independent in these last few episodes which made the storylines feel very separate- I’m not sure how I feel about that, I guess it’s always nice for The Doctor to show her lone self, yet the companions felt somehow less Integral? Maybe I’m reading too much Into it. 
          I would love to hear anyone else’s opinions so let me know what you all thought!
          It looks like the Daleks are back for New Year’s Day! I refuse to believe Jodie will regenerate soon…. I hope everyone Is well, and have a lovely Christmas to you all xx

So Jodie Whittaker is theoretically leaving the show after her third season which is normal for The Doctor. 
          
          However, to have people take this as an opportunity to slate her for her performance is beyond unacceptable, Express and DoctorWhoTV even going as far to say she ruined the show and that it is beyond repair. I understand not everyone agreed with Chibnall’s writing, but to twist this and use his writing as a reflection of her acting is appalling. Especially when supposed fans dropped her at the beginning of her run due simply to her sex. 
          
          I just want my support for Jodie to be heard, she did an amazing job with what she was provided, and I will continue to support her in her acting career. I just feel sorry for her due to the awful backlash she has dealt with since joining the show. Times are changing. Keep up. 
          
          That’s all, I’m sorry for this rant but she did such an amazing job at deflecting the hate and keeping a smile just like The Doctor would.
