Wowie, I’m still alive!

I hope you all are well during this pandemic. I know I always have excuses regarding my absence, so I can’t say that I’m back, but I am posting a new story that you can guarantee because it’s an assignment for school!

I believe both Anomaly and Dollmaker have a chapter written, but I’d like to re-edit before I publish them. The Island Experiment and Haven are also in the works, and by that, I mean they’re 90% done, and I have to find the time and motivation to finish and then edit them all over again.

This pandemic has hit me hard.

I’ve lost the tail end of my senior year in high school, and can’t see my friends. My favorite shows are ending, and I feel all alone. The drive for school feels nonexistent, and I think I’ve developed cabin fever.

Nonetheless, I’m going to keep moving forward.

The future is bleak, but I can’t give up now. There’s still so much I want to share and so many people I want to see. Despite the dark times, there are still things I can look forward to, like my birthday next week and the final season of She-Ra.

If you are feeling low, I encourage you to find little things of your own, like cake. Sweet, sweet birthday cake. Yeah, I think food’s a good motivator right now, haha.

So please, hang in there, alright? And if you’re bored, you can check out The Island Experiment: A Lonely Pawn soon!

          	Have a wonderful day!

I’ve been thinking it over this past week, and I’ve decided that before I upload a new chapter of either Dollmaker or Anomaly, I would like to review the old chapters I already have posted first.

Believe it or not, the furthest back I’ve edited a few of the chapters was at the beginning of 2017! As all of you know, that means I’ve undergone over two years worth of growth. I’ve had time to spend improving not only my technical skills but my storytelling capabilities as well.

That also means the critic in me frowns upon any of my stiffly-written, repetitive sentences. Having gotten that out of the way, however, I will still try to post the Anomaly chapter sometime this week. I’ve decided on Anomaly as this will be faster for me to read through and edit than Dollmaker, and the chapter can come out sooner as a result.

Thank you all for understanding, and hopefully, I can rewrite these stories to become much more enjoyable reads!

Thanks for adding my poetry books in your reading list! ❤

@Miss_Pearlgarden yes. You will definitely understand them without knowing YLIA. If you know Harry Potter and Avengers, you will understand the books already. ❤

@rdcastillo24 Of course! I noticed a majority of your content features fanfictions, which, unfortunately, I am not apart of those particular fandoms. I’m hoping to get into Your Lie In April sometime soon though! Would you say I only need to have seen half of the crossover to understand your stories?

Chapter 46 of the Island Experiment is now ready to read! Thank you all for your patience, and, as promised, I will get out the next chapter of Dollmaker. I’ve decided to alternate between both stories (Dollmaker and Anomaly). This means on a good week I’ll be able to continue each story, as I’m hoping they won't become outdated or discarded.

I am proud to announce that chapter one of Haven is now available to read! Now all that’s left for this week is a chapter of The Island Experiment and an extra chapter of either Anomaly or Dollmaker! Thanks for keeping up to date everyone. I’ll try to hold up my end of the promise and get them out there for you all to read.

Hey guys, I know it’s been a while since I’ve last posted anything on Wattpad, but I’ve been down in the dumps a lot lately. I had to mourn the loss of my special dog, and I almost lost my grandma quite recently as well.

Luckily, things are looking up and she is doing all right. Not only that, but I’ve regained a spark of creativity, and motivation is back on my side! That means now that I’ve had some time to myself, I’m feeling better and ready to continue on my stories!

Look forward to the coming week to the premiere of my first collaborative Sci-Fi/Dystopian novel titled Haven. I’m also planning to post the latest chapter of The Island Experiment, and am going to edit the one directly after it so the next post won’t be so far away. And while this may sound ambitious, I am hoping to finish the first book and start re-editing it all within the year, as well as begin the frameworks for the sequel!

And, if this week allows, I will finish editing the next chapter of either Dollmaker or Anomaly, and finally get to posting the next bit. Having said that, I will probably put those two on hold as I work on The Island Experiment and Haven as my main priorities.

I’d like to thank each of my followers for sticking with me even though a horrible publishing schedule filled with countless hiatuses. And to those of you who are new, thank you for checking out my stories! It means a lot to know that people will give me a chance. Even if motivation fails me, I hope to push onward and keep from reaching another low point!

Hi!

Miss_Pearlgarden

Hello there! Sorry I haven’t been able to introduce myself before, I’ve been taking a hiatus for the past month due to finals and schooling, but I’m trying to get back in the writing groove. Thank you for following me, I appreciate the support! Have you found a story you like of mine?

Hey guys, I know it’s been a while since I posted anything, but I’m currently working on inserting a few chapters in the middle of The Island Experiment. I’m sorry to those of you who have read chapter 24 and up, but to those of you who haven’t, you won’t notice a thing! I just felt like in that part of the book it was a bit lackluster, and I wanted to lengthen it up.

Anyways, after I fix all that, I’ll continue updating where I’ve currently left off. Sorry for the inconvenience, I’ve just been very busy and I don’t want to post something that isn’t my best work. I hope you will understand, and thanks again!

Hey guys, I know I’ve been inactive lately, but I’m back for the time being. I’ve been trying to overcome some heavy writers block, but I’ve finally mapped out the rest of book 1 of The Island Experiment! Now I just need to find some time to write it. It also doesn’t help that I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with Halloween prep, homework, and helping in my school’s play, so I haven’t had much time to myself. Anyways, there will be a new chapter posted this Friday for sure, as well as another chapter for next Friday. I can’t promise I’ll be able to post one on the Friday after that, but at least I can promise those two! Anyways, thanks for reading my story, it really means a lot to me.

Woohoo, guess who’s back! My writers block is gone, and now that its summer I am ready to write! I just posted the next chapter of The Island Experiment if anyone else is caught up. It’s a bit long, but I couldn’t help myself when describing the last bit of it. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

For those of you not reading The Island Experiment, please do if you enjoy a mix of fantasy and action. Feel free to voice your opinions and predictions, even if you aren’t at the current chapter! I am a plant, I thrive on feedback ;)

Thanks so much for sticking with me, and let me know if you want me to try starting one of my other stories back up.

          That’s all for now,
