For those that are wanting Anne Boylen to have a happy ending in The Italian Rose, prepare yourself - as she may end up marrying an Italian man in Milan to stay close to Elizabeth.

@CocoMyako I was thinking Anne and her husband can vacation during summer/winter in Pembroke, where her son with Henry would remain as Marquis. George Tudor-Boylen would drop the tudor name the moment Henry dies and would declare his loyalty to his brothers (Charles, Henry and Arthur) as the future Kings of England - so he can keep his title and head

@CocoMyako Yes, the mistresses of the old King are removed from court or married off and the illegitimate child/ren lose their stability and position as 'Royal Bastard/s' cause they'll be seen as a rival for throne if they marry any distant relatives of the Royal family

And, if Henry dies, If I recall correctly, the late mistresses of the Kings have no longer any power in the Court, and some of them retire (or are expelled). Being in Italy close to her daughter is a win. She’s married, with a worthy man and has a stable legal status as a wife of… (even if she’s the Marquess of Pembroke), and close of her daughter and grandchildren (maybe).
