Horror (n.) - The visceral, creeping terror that gnaws at the marrow of the mind, a shadowed pulse of dread that makes the familiar grotesque, the safe perilous, and the soul tremble in silent screams. Horror is the whisper of death in daylight, the reflection that is not your own, the revelation that reality itself can bleed.
And that's what I write, for horror brings fear, and fear controls all, and I strive to control.
Misery (n.) - A gnawing, unrelenting weight that clings to the bones and the mind, a hollow ache that renders the heart a barren vessel, where hope is a ghost and every breath tastes of ash. Misery is the slow erosion of the self, the quiet cruelty of endless despair, and the intimate companion of suffering that refuses to leave.
Misery, horror brings fear, and a leading cause for fear is pain, in this context, emotional. Pain leads to misery.
And I am Miss Misery, the mistress of misery...
