Can someone please help me find a book on here? I can't remember the name or author of the book. But, the plot is about a teen girl moving to a new school in America and she meets 3 new friends. One of the friends gets heartbroken by the schools player. And the main character stands up to him and they eventually fall in love. Later on in the book the guy has to fight for custody for his niece and he disappears because of the stress. Also the main girl is half British and half Hispanic.

@Misssreaderoftheyear I dont know wich book you are talking about, but I know a good book called "I Slapped Mr Popular" and it is kinda similar it is one of those stories that has a "player" and I have read it and it is a very well written book. I didn't write it, I'm just saying you might like it judging by the book you are looking for.
