Also, what are your thoughts on me trying to finish The Corrupted series (I’ve got another two books planned) or simply starting a whole new book altogether? The Corrupted itself is such a mess for the first 20 or so parts, that I’m not sure I can really fix it. I wouldn’t be able to continue it without knowing the first book is fully edited first. 
          I’ve got some ideas for new books, and I’m finding action and thriller tends to be me forte. Let me know what you guys think xx 

Hey strangers, 
          So it’s been a while since I’ve looked on here. Over a year, in fact. I’ve seen after the past few months I’ve been gone I have somehow gained some more followers and readers that actually like The Corrupted (thank you?), which is crazy considering I’ve pretty much forgotten about it. 
          That being said, I’m in the final months of my high school journey (finally!) and have some exciting plans for my big break at the end of the year. Reading some of my old stuff has made me realised that maybe The Corrupted series does have some potential, so I might play with that idea a bit and see what happens. I’ll keep you guys updated - that is, if there is actually anyone left on this website lol.

Three years ago today I wrote and posted the first chapter of The Corrupted (previously called 'Red' - fun fact)! Thanks to all of you, old and new, who've stuck through my slow updating schedule as I managed to finally finish the story and continue it on to The Modified! I hope you can stay with me as I trudge through the sequel, and any future projects I may be posting. Thank you xx -M

Laptop is working again! For the most part, anyway. Going to try and get through editing the first few chapters of The Corrupted so I'll feel better about continuing The Modified :) -M xx

So... My laptop is deciding it wants to no longer work. The majority of my keyboard is pretty dead (an important one being the space bar...) at the convenient time in the year where I have no money. So. Yep. This should be fun. -M

Just a heads up, I've made a minor change to The Corrupted series where it's now set in San Francisco, California. It makes it much easier for it to be set here because of the weather (better than New York blizzards etc) and also upcoming events (you'll find out soon - kinda). -M

WOW! So since pressing complete on The Corrupted (less than a week ago) the reads have jumped from 1.6k to almost 1.7k!! That would usually take me a few chapters - this is insane, thank you guys. 2k here we come!

Okay, I've gotten through the first few chapters - I'll be honest. It's bad. I'm going to scratch the whole introduction and a few chapters after that, maybe add a prologue and rewrite the mess I made. Once I do this, I can move onto writing and planning the sequel. 
          Oh, ALSO! Thank you guys for 1.6k reads on The Corrupted. It seems after pressing 'complete' the reads have seemed to jump a bit, which is pretty surprising! Thanks, guys! -M xx
