Hi, I’m writing to you in regards to my daughter Sydney Vallette, who was recently blocked from your story.
My daughter is on the autism spectrum and is a very dedicated reader of your work. Because of how her mind processes stories, she tends to focus deeply on realism and character consistency. When she commented on the main character's traits, she wasn't trying to be unkind; she was simply sharing her perspective on how the character was coming across to her.
Writing is a big part of her world, and she’s quite upset about losing access to your story. Would you be open to unblocking her? Although I can’t guarantee that she will keep her thoughts to herself because she is somewhat OCD. She has not stopped talking about this for the last five days and is it causing her an extreme. amount of stress and myself as well because I have to listen to it. Lol. However, if you choose to keep her blocked, I respect your wishes. Thank you so much.

And I completely understand the challenges with autism, as I’ve gone through my own challenges with autism through the years. Writing is a huge part of my self-expression and one of my special interests (which is another reason I got a little defensive about my character). Sorry about the stress this has caused!
