          I’m going to keep this update sweet, and to the point. 
          
          Firstly, before I begin, I would like to thank all of you who checked up on me during my MIA status. It truly meant the world to me that you took time out of your busy days to check on me! It made me realize just how close knit our little Pack/reading community truly is! 
          
          With that being said, I want to address the reasons behind why I suddenly disappeared from your lives. The main reason why I decided to take a step back from my writing was because not only have there been multiple unexpected losses in my family, about month apart from each other in the last five months, but also because I had to take care of a family member at home until they passed. To say that my family and I have been grieving is an understatement. My world was shattered with these losses and I don’t think it would have been fair for you, as my loyal readers, if I continued to write in a headspace like that. Not only would it have altered your favorite characters personalities but it also would have altered my storylines as well. I tried to write, (I really did) so I could meet the promised deadline I gave you all when I started A Court of Shifters and Secrets, but both my mind and heart were at war with how book two was turning out. 
          
          If I’m being completely honest with you all, at this point in my journey, I think it’s best if I take a writing hiatus. As much as it kills me to stop writing, and as much as it kills me to disappoint you all, it’s in everyone’s best interest if I take a break to heal and recover together with my family from our losses. 
          
          I truly hope you all do understand where I’m coming from. I don’t want my writing quality, nor do I want my storylines, to suffer because of my grief. YOU all deserve better than having a lackluster book filled with absolute nonsense. 
          
          As always, I absolutely LOVE and ADORE you all.Thank you for always sticking by me through the good and bad times.

Hi Mk! Please tell me there will be a second book of “A Court of Shifters and Secret” please please . Will it be released soon? I have been looking for a good read here on wattpad and ACSS was one of those, and the last chapter was such a cliffhanger huhuhuhu

Sweetie, you are a writer with such an imagination. Your stories are a wonderful read but you need to finish stories before posting new ideas.  If you have writers block talk with someone to hash out ideas. Anyone who loves the genre you are writing. Nothing is more aggravating than an unfinished story for you and the reader. Maybe find an online forum for authors or start one.  Lots of authors here on Wattpad are in your situation. You all could be a great asset to each other.
