Let’s all take a moment of silence to remember what happened today, nineteen years ago. Members of the terrorist group al-Qaeda hijacked four planes, and used them as weapons. They flew two of those planes into the World Trade Center, also known as the twin towers. The towers collapsed not long after the impact. Killing many of the people inside, civilians and first responders, none of the people on the plane survived. Another plane hit the pentagon. Nobody on the plane survived. Th last plane was aimed towards Washington D.C., the people on the plane realized what was happening and stormed the cockpit. The terrorists panicked and crashed the plane in a field. Nobody survived, but they saved so many lives. Let’s all remember and respect these people. We are the lucky ones. Let’s not forget that.
