I think the distant ones do. I'm not really close to them & I spent 7 years in PH so I'm more to the pinoy culture. I don't have any relatives in singapore so I just have to celebrate chinese new year if my friends invite me. :/ but normally I don't. My family really celebrates Christmas though, almost every year we go home to PH & just enjoy.
