Jax Warrick writes science-fiction and fantasy adventures fueled by too much coffee, too little sleep, and an unreasonable fascination with traveling performers. Before turning to fiction, he worked a string of jobs that sound made-up but aren't-stagehand, prop builder, mailroom clerk in a building everyone swore was haunted, and once (accidentally) a tour guide for a group he wasn't supposed to be guiding.

When he isn't writing about vampires, knife-throwers, and questionable taverns, he can usually be found wandering used bookstores, sketching maps he'll later forget the meaning of, or insisting he doesn't talk to his characters even though he very clearly does.

He lives somewhere he refuses to specify, claiming it's "safer for everyone involved."
