She cries
cause she thinks she has no friends
At school
She cries
cause she's bad at math
She cries
cause she hates that she cries all the time
She cries
when the butterfly breaks its wing
She cries
when that kid at the park falls of the swing
She cries
over everything
She cries
her words out on paper
She cries
Every note she sings of Taylor
She cries
cause nothing lasts forever
She cries
and we cry together
She cries
her tears of salt and sweetness
She cries
And she loves
Music and poems and
lot of other stuff
She's not that good at drawing
But she strives when the going gets rough
And she shares her heart
To us, we are worlds apart
She cries
Just like a baby
She cries
Innocence and the lost maybes
She cries
'Cause life fucks her over
She cries
'Cause she couldn't find that clover
She cries
It's just a matter of time
And she wins and she dances,
and the trees dance and birds steal glances
She breaks her sadness and her sighs
She wipes her tears and she smiles
She has her friends, those she can trust
That's what life gives you,
A couple diamonds, a lot of rust
We all waver and we all try
To go live life and reach for the highs
It's okay and it's not bad
It's all fine and something to be had
Yet sometimes when the night get closer
She cries
And we cry together
