I've noticed there's hardly any interaction from readers on Wattpad compared to my other platforms, so I'm considering stopping releases there. While a few dedicated souls still check out my work, the feedback is dwindling. It feels strange that some readers seem to feel entitled to consume my stories as if it's my job to write solely for their enjoyment, without offering anything in return. I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this!

@Mika_The_Cat00 "It's on the Internet—it's free" seems to be the norm these days. While I also don’t always have time to leave a review or comment on artwork, I do it as much as I can. But the trend is clear: consume and move on. It’s disheartening to feel like writing has become something people only consume without ever giving feedback. Feedback is what pushes algorithms and helps stories reach a wider audience. Sadly, Wattpad has been the worst community for this in my experience. That said, I know not all readers are like this—you have been with me since chapter one, and I deeply appreciate seeing your name pop up again and again. ❤️ As for your question: I also publish on AO3 and Fanfiktion.de, and most of my announcements and covers are on Instagram. You’re more than welcome to stick with me on these platforms if I decide to leave Wattpad. I know this statement is a bit salty—sorry about that—but I felt it needed to be said.

First of all,Im sorry to reply so late. :) I understand why you think about stopping here. I really appreciated everything you’ve released so far (from the ones that I’ve read) and Im happy to see that you make it clear that this isn’t something you get paid for. So, I’m sorry if I made it seem like I thought that it was your job to write all those beautiful stories. Of course I’d also like to ask if you share your work also on other socials/readig,writing apps/webs, because then I’d have the opportunity to continue reading your stories and also to keep supporting you! Have a great time, -Mika
