I published the prologue of Breaking Waves yesterday, and I've found I'm having a difficult time letting it be.
It's a story that's been with me for a long time- I know every character intimately, I know every beat it will take, I know the what why and how of every moment- and I feel a bizarre need to do it justice. Warrior Cats, in all honesty, is an interest I've left somewhat behind me, but this particular story is one I couldn't leave behind with it: it's somehow special to me.
All this to say: I'm a bit of a mess as a writer. I apologize for constant revisions, and I hope, if you choose to read my work, you can feel some part of the love I poured into my story. If nothing else, I've given it that.
If you’ve read this far, thank you for hearing out my moment of nonsense. This is the sort of thing you only post at midnight lol.

@MolliesWritings I think it’s beautiful to how dedicated you are to your craft :D it’s always cool to see another writer so dead set on making the perfect story! Remember tho that you will always be your worst critic, and not to be too hard on yourself during the process. We all think your doing great

@MolliesWritings Honestly I think that’s normal—I get the same thing, but it’s really just my perfectionism and imposter syndrome talking. Nothing will ever be perfect, sometimes you just have to let it be, hard as that can feel lol Oh frr I post the most unhinged things at/past midnight XD

I'm just jumping on here to say two quick things:
1) I'm quite sick right now, which is very irritating, and I've become a bit of a madwoman in this period that I've been staring at the (ironically) yellow wallpaper in my bedroom. The positive thing about madwomen is that they are rather good at getting things done, so if you're interested in a tale of loyalty, hope, old wounds, and murder, you may be in luck within the next few days.
2) One of my close friends, @Flamestriker6, has published a story called Wilting Flowers. It only has two chapters out, but it deals with hope, power, and a (thus far) mysterious villain. If you've got some time, check it out! And lend Flame a follow, too.

It's been nearly two years since I was last active on here, and I've really come to miss it. I've grown up a lot since then, and, to be honest, I'd already grown apart from Warriors by the time this account was a month old.
But I loved the community, and I loved you guys, so I think I'm going to come back.
