The Critical Consequence is about a 37 year old woman, who with her husband, has the shock of her life when she is told the she has what we want to fight against, cancer. 
          
          Throughout the chapters of Jane and Steve's lives, they go through all of the struggle with the chemotherapy and constant overnight stays at the hospitals. Jane soon realises after a 15 year marriage, kids are her only option to her happy ending, but will Steve want the same?
