Monet was born and raised in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. She's had a life-long passion for writing and is currently pursuing a career in nursing. She currently resides in Toledo, Ohio and shares her home with her long-term boyfriend, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She has also welcomed into her home her best friend and children whom she affectionately considers her "bonus" sister, niece, and nephew. 

In her life she has experienced trial and tribulations that have taught her to be compassionate, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs and emotions of others. She spent 5 years working as an EMT and currently works as a caregiver for Special Needs adults and as a supervisor for an industrial cleaning company.
