Hi everyone! I just posted the latest chapter of DEAR VALENTINA. I know it's been about a year since I last uploaded a chapter and in the author's notes, I do explain what I've been preoccupied with, but it is good to be back :)

Hi! Do you plan to continue the sense8 story anytime soon?

Hi everyone! It's been a hot minute. First off, I just wanted to apologize for how long it's been since I updated Dear Valentina. I've not been in a writing slump; I actually have half of the latest chapter already written out. These last few months have just been incredibly busy with lots of changes going on in my life.
          
          All good news though...I graduated from university in December and took my professional nursing exam about a week ago. I found out earlier today that I passed the exam and am officially a registered nurse! 
          
          This has been the most satisfying experience of my life. I've been in college since 2020 and while nursing school was terrible, I'm so glad I got through it and it's led me to this moment.
          
          More changes are to come. I start job orientation sometime next month. However, one of my goals is to start writing more frequently. We left Dear Valentina off at a good place at the end of season two, but I've still got a lot more to say concerning Valerie's future.

FYI, just to ruin some people's day, this would have been Lenny Bruce's 100th birthday
          
          (And while we're on the topic, a Dear Valentina update is coming eventually. I've just been very, very busy.)

Rest in Peace Tom Lehrer! It was announced earlier today that he died at the age of 97
          
          He's been featured in Dear Valentina in flashback sequences and will continue to make appearances in the future (specifically season five, if my outline stays fairly concrete). He's one of my favorite satirical comedians from that era and if you haven't listened to his songs, I highly recommend them.
          
          He also invented the Jell-O Shot, which is pretty badass

It's astonishing that when you're starting a new job, regardless of how excited and grateful you are for it, training/orientation will still make you miserable beyond comprehension

When you're only half-way done (if even that) on a chapter that's taken more than a month to write...FML

I finally finished Kate Elizabeth Russell's My Dark Vanessa. Her writing has forever changed me. Nobody talk to me.
