Hello again to the few people who follow this account. Apologies for going radio silent all of a sudden a few months ago. At the time, I was swamped with work so I had to step away from Wattpad.
Since it was the only thing on here, many of you might be wondering what happened to the story I had been writing: Roses on the Water | Daybreak. Even after disappearing off the face of the Earth, I continued to work on it. As of two months ago, Daybreak is now finished. I have a polished first draft that contains 31 chapters and 117k words full of debatably funny quips, a whole lot of mystery, and an ever-expanding narrative. At the moment, the second part is now in development, however, I will not be posting it on Wattpad, or anywhere for the matter.
After much consideration, I have decided on pursuing publishing in the future. Having the entirety of Daybreak online for free would, unfortunately, get in the way of that goal. Because of this, I have decided to remove what had been posted from the site.
To all of those who read and left comments, thank you. Knowing that there were people out there who enjoyed my writing helped me keep going. It means the world to me. As someone who is insecure of their abilities and a writer and storyteller, you all gave me hope that I could make something amazing.
So, what now? To be honest, I don't know. At the moment, I am taking a break on outlining and writing the sequel to further polish the first part. Before moving on, I want to get to a point where I am happy and confident in my work.
As for you all, I do not know when you will get to see the rest of Kai and Josiah's story. It may be in a few years. Possibly decades. Maybe never. However, if Daybreak ever returns, it will be under a new name: Tempus | The Time Thief.
