Well, it's been a minute, huh? Good news, Waste Deep volume 1 is complete, bad news, volume 2 is not. I'm going to be doing all of the editing and rework that I promised a year ago, and releasing the chapters steadily every week for the first time. I also have a few other projects that have been gaining traction on other sites that I will most likely be uploading here as well. Hope everyone has had a good few years since I walked off into the sunset, but now I'm back. I guess my quest for milk and cigarettes has come to an end.

So, I actually have new chapters to post. I also have quite a bit of editing to do as I have found quite a bit of success on other platforms by splitting up chapters that I have previously published. If you see quite a few new chapters being added and you have read up to the current chapter you can completely ignore these.

So I've decided to split the latest chapter of Waste Deep into two parts. It's honestly too long and needs a stopping point in the middle. I don't know how long the next few chapters will take. I've written and rewritten them about five times and nothing seems right. At this point I just want to finish the damn thing and be done with it. Maybe I'll stop feeling so damn insecure once it is. Pretty much the only thing I have to look forward to these days.

There's a point to all of this, I swear. I've got a plan, you know?

I went ahead and put out something quick so people know I'm not dead. I might stop posting on WP. I get about three times the views on other sites and I'm not one to put out regular updates to keep my rank up. Who knows.

So, quick update. My computer has been out of comission for a few weeks. I've gotten a solution worked out but it will probably still be a few weeks before any new updates come out for either Waste Deep or Freezer 42. I've been adapting to a new position at a new company so I haven't exactly been a fountain of ideas. For anyone who has been following the stories I appreciate you greatly. For anyone who hasn't I hope you give them a try. I promise new updates are coming.

Jeez, so this is an update. I know it's been a while between updates. For some reason losing my job caused all of my inspiration to leave me. I've had few realizations over the past few months, primarily that if my mind is not occupied by work that I dislike then the work that I do like won't come as easily. I've uploaded what I have for chapter 20. I'm not the happiest with it but it's what I've got. You can look forward to more updates in the future now that I have a bit of pressure back on me. I am sorry. People, wonderful people, have been asking me what is up and I haven't really had an answer. For that I have laid a tremendous amount of guilt upon myself and it has only made my brain rot worse. Thank you to everyone who has decided to stick around. I am not a professional. I have been professional in many aspects of my life but writing has been a venture into the parts of my mind that work differently. I guarantee that the rest of the story will come faster than this one tiny chapter that has stumped me. Thank you for sticking around if you have. I do appreciate you deeply.

Hey everybody, I know that Waste Deep updates have been slow. Like, months between chapters slow, but I'm hopefully getting back on top of things. I just published the first chapter of a much shorter work that I have been messing with. Hopefully the next chapter of Waste Deep will be coming out soon, but in the meantime I might distract myself with Freezer 42 so that Waste Deep chapter 20 can write itself in the back of my head like a subroutine. I'm not actually doing that but in a way that's pretty close to how it goes. Thank you for your patience and thank you to anybody who follows me and enjoys my work.
