Hi everyone,
I apologise if I haven't updated my story for a while, my nan has undiagnosed dementia and I'm looking after her this week whilst my uncle and my grandad are away on holiday, so as much as it's hard I'm finding out a lot of things about my nan I didn't know before. Her love for elvis and watching him is a lot greater than we knew as a family. I write this at 3.50 ish in the morning, because I'm now too watching elvis presley on YouTube.
Thanks for YouTube for being a platform we can watch Elvis Presley on.
I will get back to my story as soon as I can. However, I'm enjoying spending time with my nan, completely unfiltered and gentle.
For those of you who care for loved ones with dementia, for those of you who work in the care industry. You guys do so much in so little time. I've always said it to my fellow care workers, hats off to you all. Keep up the hard work. Your work is appreciated greatly. You are doing something so great that you do not realise how great you are.
