What if- hear me out- what if we change our names get new passports and leave the country to live in Italy with a house of cats?

Legit just me complaining 
          
          Okay so one of my friends let’s call them P basically their trans and have a new name and a dead name only their deadname can’t be used around their family as not to out them and we as friends have been told to be careful and to not out them. I’m the one closest with their family and around them more than everyone else who is barely around them so everytime the subject is brought up I use his dead name instead as I start to panic. But apparently I’m an ass for doing that even though I’m just trying to be precautionary? And as long as family isn’t a convertation I’m good with using their current name. So now I’m dead as I’m getting yelled at by everyone that’s online and I can’t tacking deal with this we were infront of his fucking mum what was I supposed to do out them?
