          21 years of me. 21 years of lessons, growth, and becoming.  
          I’m not the same girl I was at 16, or even last year. I’ve healed, I’ve learned, I’ve failed and tried again.  
          I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for where I’m going.  
          This is the year I choose myself louder. More peace, more passion, more risks that scare me, more love for the little things.

          ​I know I’ve been away for a while, and I think it’s time to be completely honest with you all. A lot of you know I took a break because of a heavy breakup, and honestly, it has hit me harder than I expected.
          
          ​This isn't about blaming anyone or throwing shade. It's just that she was my partner in absolutely everything—especially my stories. She was the one who told me where I was going right, where I was going wrong, and what I needed to improve. Losing that support system means losing a huge part of my writing process, and without her, it feels like I've messed up a lot of things lately.
          
          ​I really don’t know if or when I’ll be able to be as active as I used to be. Writing and being here feels very different right now, but I want to try my best to find my way back.
          
          ​I am so, so sorry for the silence and for letting things slip. Thank you to everyone who has stuck around, sent sweet messages, and given me the space to breathe. Your patience means the world to me. ❤️"

To be honest, it’s not like I’m officially making a massive comeback to writing, but I recently started watching the new ongoing Chinese drama "The First Jasmine" (which just started airing on June 9!), and I completely fell in love with it. The storyline is so unique, beautiful, and the mature, intelligent dynamic between the leads is just breathtaking. I highly, highly recommend everyone to go watch the original drama!
          ​I loved the characters' behavior so much—especially how the lead is this dangerous, calculating mastermind but also has this incredibly cute, dramatic, and embarrassed side when caught—that I just couldn't stop myself from reimagining it as a heavy slow-burn, historical BL story using YiZhan visuals.
          ​If you love political intrigue, hidden identities, dual masterminds, and a perfect balance of dark revenge mixed with domestic, protective fluff, please give "The Fragrance of Burnt Jasmine" a read! ✨
