Yes, I'm still alive XD XD 
          
          I've been away for a while for three main reasons: 
          
          1) work has been extremely busy and family life stressful since January,
          
          2) I've stretched myself thin on various other projects, and because of these two things...
          
          3) I stopped playing Genshin Impact since February this year. I sadly felt myself not really into Sumeru much, and Fontaine, though really cool, is too large for my old computer and I'm not updating Genshin until the actual core story of the Traveller and Khaenri'ah moves forward. The new laptop I got is purely for my job and writing. 
          
          Though I wouldn't really call myself a Genshin player anymore, as long as I like the CHARACTERS - and I still enjoy Kokosara, Beiguang, all of them - not playing doesn't mean not being able to write. So even though my time is really limited, I technically haven't lost interest, which is probably more of a killer of fanfic updates than not having enough time :) 
          
          So just to manage expectations, I'm trying to do incremental updates of Heir of Haishan, while finishing off my Kokosara sequel. I'm hoping more people check out Heir of Haishan and give a little feedback, as it's a little something different I'm trying (it comes close to being a political-corporate thriller), and I also think everyone loves Beidou but wants to see her doing something new. Also, I think I'm entering a new phase of simping for our favorite Electro pirate xx

Hey amazing friends, I hope you've been keeping well during these crazy times. I've been doing my best to update while avoiding burnout, so that means a lower frequency but (hopefully) chapters of a good quality and which you enjoy. 
          
          The next update will be to my kokosara fanfic, "Tengu Torment," before I turn my attention to my smaller fics, "Heir of Haishan" and "Favonius Taboo!"

It's been a busy time at work, so apologies for the slow updates to my "main" kokosara and venlisa fanfics. Last week I uploaded a GanBei oneshot, and hopefully in the coming days I'll be able to complete the newest chapter to "Tengu Torment," the ongoing kokosara sequel that expands Kokomi's burgeoning "alternative lifestyle" empire. 
          
          I hope you enjoy these stories, and when Yun Jin comes out (I can't wait) I'll be looking to explore some music-themed fics featuring pairings like YunYan, YunBei, and YunBara (?).

I had a very modest birth-day off yesterday, so please forgive any lull in chapter updates. I'm working on a collaborative project with @abbystea, *the* venlisa artist, and that will be launching soon. Kokosara is easily one of my favourite ships, and I credit @Caldier_fshh with inspiring me to write this ship in the first place. There are few people I admire more than artists, and I owe my Genshin fanfic writing and to the artist community in general for their imagination and openness to working with me.

Hello. I hope you're having a wonderful start to the week. 
          
          Sometime this week, I'll be publishing "Tengu Torment," the sequel to "Fishing for Compliments" (both kokosara). This will bring my roster of ongoing stories to 4, including "Heir of Haishan," (beiguang) "Apple Cider by Stormy Night," (venlisa) and "Favonius Taboo" (rosabara and others). 
          
          My idea is to take turns updating each of these 4 stories so there's a variety of content and I don't suffer burnout from one story. Occasionally I'll weave in some oneshots. For example, I've just published a new YanTao oneshot. Check it out if it sounds interesting. It's inspired by one of my favourite artists. Check out her work, which I've tagged via Twitter. In fact, all my fanfics except Favonius Taboo came about based on inspiration from one artist or another, in particular the venlisa (thanks Abby!) and kokosara fics.

I've been planning and expanding more ships and themes to keep my range of fanfics interesting and fun for you. Below are my present projects, which are already (or will soon) be online.
          
          APPLE CIDER BY STORMY NIGHT (venlisa): The Anemo Archon and the Favonius Librarian grow closer to each other through his lyre.
          
          FAVONIUS TABOO (Rosaria X multiple): The Church's secret agent, Rosaria, faces her demons and a powerful Fatui operative while protecting Barbara.
          
          TENGU TORMENT (kokosara, tohmaya): the sequel to Fishing for Compliments. Kokomi and Sara now jointly govern Inazuma together. As a side hustle, Kokomi opens Inazuma's first intimate pleasure store, Watatslutty Toys.
          
          HEIR OF HAISHAN (beiguang):  Beidou unleashes her Crux Fleet against the thugs of Yanshang Teahouse, throwing into chaos Ningguang's delicate balancing act among Liyue's many factions. How long can the Tianquan protect Beidou from the forces amassed against her sweet pirate?

A RENOVATED HEART AND A TATTOO: AN EIMIKO ONESHOT
          
          I've just ventured down the Eimiko rabbit hole with a oneshot about Ei and Miko's rekindled feelings for one another after Ei's defeat. Ei invites Miko over for a picnic, like old times, in her Plane of Euthymia. Sensual kissing of Ei's tattoo ensues. The short piece is pretty much based on an exquisite fanart whose wonderful artist let me use.
          
          I hope you enjoy this piece, and any feedback is most welcome. 
          
          Regular updates for my KokoSara and VenLisa stories are on the way. "Fishing for Compliments" will conclude soon and I have another KokoSara story lined up. Over the long term, I have a BeiGuang story and a more ambitious fic featuring one of my favourite characters, Rosaria, with several characters.
