In case you notice a fanfic of mine being gone, let me clarify that I've been thinking it over for a very long time. It felt wrong writing something like that that I had no experience with, and I felt that no amount of research was going to make me understand enough to handle the topic properly. And in the end, not handling something serious like that can lead to a lot of misinformation and misconceptions about the topic.
I would like to sincerely apologize if anyone who read what I had published was offended or felt negatively in any way. I understand it was not my place to write that, and I will not be handling that topic in the future, as I am not the appropriate person to do so.
This decision came about as a result of many factors, including hearing others' perspectives on what I should do, seeing others be called out for essentially the same thing I was doing, and just starting to understand and take into account how that work could negatively impact others.
So, I have decided to remove the work from my profile. I will not be reuploading it, and I will not be rewriting it. Do not expect anything similar in the future, either.
