They said that the whole point of the book is so that you see the relationship through the girls eyes so it shows how easy you can be in a relationship that is actually sexual assault and grooming without realising it. They said that George was going to be sent to prison at the end and so the whole book is about spreading awareness. They didn’t tell anyone of the story line plans as they didn’t want it to be ruined, but now this has ruined it already so they wanted you to know it was about spreading awareness. The reader would realise at the end of the book what was really going on in this relationship and discover how parming off love and affection is an act to cover up grooming

@Reject_Elephant ok bby I’ve done some research for you. The law states that A pedophile is a person who has a sustained sexual orientation toward children, generally aged 13 or younger. The character is 17 at the point the book is at.
