I JUST GOT HIT WITH A NEW RANDOM IDEA LMAO(It's another Modern AU lol, y'all are probably SICK of my modern AUs lol)
          
          So, lemme explain-
          
          So like- Odysseus feeds the crows while walking Argos and at the park, and such.
          
          And Hermes isn't exactly associated with crows, but crows are intelligent and playful, they can also be quite the tricksters! I'd imagine a large part of the modern world doesn't exactly amuse Hermes(I have shown this in F/C and intend to make this very clear)(He likes crows though, not that it'll come up in F/C)
          
          As some of you may know, Crows remember faces and are highly intelligent. They can also mimic human speech after going through a process called freeing of the tongue. They are known to communicate with one another as well. SO, it stand to reason that they have a language Hermes could at least partially understand!
          
          I'd wager there's like a partial barrier of language between Hermes and the crows-
          
          I think I'm going to call this my Crow Mafia AU
          
          And if I figure out a plot beyond this, I'm giving my fic the tagline "That one fic with the crow army"(Given I write it)
