If I open a fic and it starts out with a chapter called “introduction” I’m immediately clicking off.
          
          It just shows that the author has ZERO trust in the readers to be able to use their imagination for the characters. The best part about books for me is that I get some level of control on what everything looks like and adding pictures kinda just ruins that for me I dunno
          
          It irks me even MORE when they add personality descriptions underneath it becuase it shows even less trust in the readers to be able to understand their character’s personality through the fucking story

To ANYONE seeing this who wants to start writing PLEASE don’t add multiple character’s dialogue into a single paragraph. Every seperate character’s dialogue should have its own paragraph. PLEASE I HATE IT WHEN THEY DONT DO THAT
