Ahoy!
My name is Lorenz, I'm a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. My major is Police Studies and I'm minoring in Creative Writing. It's something I do for pleasure and who knows...maybe even professionally one day.
I enjoy writing short stories. They can be fictional (but always with some truth to it), memoirs and whatever else I can think of. I love to give my stories and characters a very distinctive voice and even the darkest story needs some humor here and there.

I'm originally from Germany and I came to New York a little over 4 years ago. I do apologize for grammatical errors and especially comma splices (those are so damn difficult). I try my best to avoid them, but English is my second language and I'm not an editor ;).

Over my summer break I will try to bring out at least one short story every 1-2 weeks with a chapter every other day.
