I just read your bio and I have to say, don't worry, lol, I'm way weirder than you, you're gonna be alright pal.
You really seem like a good kid, so even though I'm not the best writer around (I'm not the most responsible either), I'll give you some pieces of advice (since you ask for it) that I got from other authors:
1) if you're gonna write a story, do it for you and for you only. Don't try to please or impress anyone other than yourself, besides the story is yours. Any comment belonging to someone else should be secondary (unless it's constructive criticism. Then it's good, you should take it into consideration)
2) if you like your work, so will the others. Make it perfect to you, believe in yourself and everything's gonna go your way.
3) you need to have a plot (I feel like the stricter it is the better) and to avoid leaving "gaps" in the story. You need to find the primary concept of your entire story and stick to it, only add things to flesh it out, to make it more interesting and mystifying. When I say "gaps", I mean don't insinuate things and then not further explain them rendering the readers wondering what the herb happened, or skip things or forget about important stuff you need to say. In order to do so
4)write a brief description of the occurrences of every chapter down in a notebook, then, of course, elaborate to make every one a chapter.
5) follow a schedule. (e.g. New chapters every Monday and Thursday)
6) be happy and confident (happiness is motivation and confidence is encouragement)
7) that's all.
You probably knew all of the above already, lmao, but I hope they did help you sort of?
By the way, let me know when you publish your story please, I'd really like to read it.
