I grew up in and am still a resident of London (UK).
I have had an unusual upbringing, due to the fact that my family home also doubles up as a B&B.
So, since 1994, we have had the world come to my doorstep. All variety of people, nationalities, and cultures, you name it we have hosted them.
I am also a Tsunami survivor - check out Boxing Day 2004 for the full run down of that one.
Love all things word and book related, I like my music as much as my podcasts and can't resist a good film or a homemade meal. I like to spend my time visiting old friends Mary Jane, Mandy, and Elvis, every now and then.
Travelling is and always shall be a passion of mine. And I have a long list of place to visit, although my travel insurance may be quite high for a while...
I was a cancer patient, now I am in remission, after 6 long months of chemo, which was a fun period of blood test, stab, doctor, blood test, stab, chemo REPEAT!
The hardest part is being kind to oneself, throughout such a process. And never doubting that you will recover. Once again I'm one of the lucky ones. I have love, family, friends, support and know that I will get through this.
I am partial to READING REQUESTS and offer FEEDBACK although tell me what you want me to focus on when I read your work; storyline, structure, grammar, tone, voice, narrative, personally I find this a more helpful and constructive way of working.
Anyway enough from me.
I hope you enjoy reading my stories and if you come across anything you like, let me know about it.
Cheers,
Chris
