I apologize that it’s been several months, but It’s Raining Outside is finally complete! I think, if I were to write a second poetry collection, I would be less perfectionistic about how it is presented. To me, I struggled to express how I was feeling through a structured format and I should have just free versed it. For me, my poetry is more of an expression of who I am then a skill to be mastered. I am still very proud of the poetry collection that I have presented, but next time I will be less serious and more casual about my approach!
