methodically impacting technological instrument

I write hypothetical absurdist fictions--"Anti-Fanfics" that work outside of usual fan service (shipping, erotica, re-writing and/or continuing "canon") and the attempt to be taken seriously and/or relevant in the greater scheme of things. They all start with an out-of-pocket idea: 

"What if Santa fought X character?"
"What if a game of the absolute simplicity of the T-Rex game had an actual storyline?"

And from there, I begin a rabbit trail of by-the-seat-of-my-pants writing and researching. The not only surprises me, but might absolutely shock you!
