What do you do when your family and friends tell you that the house you've just moved into is haunted? As a community psychologist and activist, I decided to investigate the history of the house and its former inhabitants. If I could figure out what they wanted, maybe we could all come to some sort of understanding that would lead to peaceful coexistence. This turned out to be much harder than I could have ever imagined because of the forces that aligned to stop the secrets of the House on Lizard Hill from being told. I felt compelled to research about it, if only to have something to pass on to the next family.

When you read, please feel free to ask questions about what it's like to live in this house in the middle of the Simi Hills, with Kardashians at one end and the Manson family's Spahn Ranch at the other. Readers outside of our outlaw community sometimes struggle to believe that we really exist. The true Simi Hills stories are so outlandish, fact really is stranger than fiction. If you are curious, I'll be happy to share which parts are fact and which parts are fiction.

If I am following you, it's for a reason: your quirky profile, your sense of humor, your undiscovered book that is deserving of attention. If you are wondering why, ask! Psychologists don't bite and I'm not on Wattpad to psychoanalyze anybody.

For read requests, head over to my profile and submit on my page in the review book. Check out the book club i joined recently when you're there!

Finally, I am a bit of an odd duck in that I am not interested in leaving my career to be a fiction writer in future. I am gonna be writing fiction with no expectation of making money or finding fame. I will write fiction simply for the love of the process.
